GREAT NEWS!
GreenEarth® cleaning has arrived at Arrow Fabricare!
What this means to YOU, our customer, is that your leather and
suede garments are being treated even more gently than ever before
possible! GreenEarth is a silicone-based processing solution
that thoroughly cleans without the harsh chemicals that leave
many leathers feeling "hard" to the touch. The other,
and perhaps greater, benefit of GreenEarth is that the solution
is non-polluting! Arrow, along with other progressive U.S. dry
cleaners, is welcoming this new technology advancement both for
customers and for the industry.

ARROW INTRODUCES SUEDE & NUBUCK
HOME CARE KIT
Is your suede jacket suffering from elbows that shine?
Elbows and cuffs of suede jackets are vulnerable to nap flattening.
Nubuck, too, can develop a flat finish after a period of wear.
Arrow's new Suede and Nubuck Kit just $4.99! is available
by mail order with instructions to help you keep your garment
looking good! The kit contains a bar spot remover plus a brush,
along with the instructions on usage. The special bar will clean
up light soil and spots either dry or wet by following the instructions.
The kit will not restore nap that is missing due to excessive
wear but it does a great job to re-invigorate the existing nap.

A HOLIDAY TIP FOR YOUR FINE LEATHERS!
As you attend to social activities this holiday season,
be vigilant about adhesive-backed name tags being attached to
your leather jackets, shirts, purses or coats. The adhesive will
remove most leather finishes, leaving your garment or accessory
with an ugly 'adhesive blemish.' To properly remove the adhesive
and refinish the affected area requires professional assistance.

MANUFACTURERS ON ARROW'S DOORSTEP!
Arrow is proof-positive that it doesn't matter where
a business is located if it has a good reputation! This fall,
several famous-name manufacturers have shipped large orders
to Arrow to correct problems caused in the manufacturing process.
- On an order of 3,400 leather-trimmed fabric coats, Arrow
was able to correct a peeling finish on leather trim and return
the order in time to meet the fall/winter retail sales season.
- Another large order of leather coats was sent to Arrow to
correct a leather spewing problem, where some of the leather's
natural fats and oils surfaced, making the garments appear to
be covered in an unattractive snowy residue. Arrow's Leathercare
team treated hundreds of these garments and returned them to
show room condition in time to meet the fall selling season.
- A top-selling manufacturer sent us a quantity of shearling
coats that had become soiled during the manufacturing process.
When Arrow returned the finished order, we received telephoned
kudos saying the shearlings "looked beautiful, like brand
new!"
- "Crocking" created a problem for another leather
garment manufacturer who turned to Arrow to resolve the issue.
When too much color saturates a new garment during the dye process,
the excess color will rub off. This is known as "crocking"
and Arrow's Leathercare team provides topnotch crocking
solutions.
- Arrow's dry cleaning team receives a good share of manufacturing
problems, too. A very large order of fleecewear arrived recently
with color-bleed problems. The garments, designed for consumer
washability, needed to be dry-cleaned to "set" the
colors and to prevent the color-bleed.
It's amazing what Arrow and chemistry
can do to correct manufacturing mistakes!
